Okay, so here’s my walkthrough as promised! Unfortunately I’m kind of a piece of trash and my teaching is probably not that good. Consider it more of a “notes on this piece” than an actual tutorial. 

Some notes on color:

It’s important to pick colors that set each other off. In some cases, those are analogous colors, (ex. red/orange/yellow) and in others, those are complimentary colors (as in red orange and blue green). For me, a focus on warm and cool contrasts is always nice to look at. Looking up basic color theory should be enough to get you started.
